On 29 • .5.95 at 9.30 Al\1 the first appellant surrendered himself e,t 'l'ukuyu police station. The OC.-CID, ASP. Harun&. Tiba., ·he.nded him over to i,f"f'.l+,")6 S/Sgt. Venerandah PW.2. He told Fd.2 that h0 had caused an accident earlier in that month at Makandana area while driving the ; relevant motor vehicle of the second appellant. He told PVlo2 that· he he.ct been negligent and carGless in tha.t he attempted to overtnke a motor vehicle whilo there was an on.:.coming motor vehicle.
