Morintat v CSI Energy Group Limited (Cause E081 of 2024) [2026] KEELRC 238 (KLR) (30 January 2026) (Ruling) Neutral citation: [2026] KEELRC 238 (KLR) Republic of Kenya In the Employment and Labour Relations Court at Nakuru Cause E081 of 2024 J Rika, J January 30, 2026 Between Jane Tipitip Morintat Claimant and CSI Energy Group Limited Respondent Ruling 1.Judgment in this Claim was delivered earlier this morning in favour of the Claimant. 2.The Claimant has filed an application dated 30th January 2026, under certificate of urgency, for review of the Judgment. 3.Review is sought based on arithmetic error, apparent on the face of the Judgment. 4.The Claimant’s monthly salary was Kshs. 576,000. 5.She was awarded compensation for unfair termination, equivalent of 8 months’ salary, which amounts to Kshs. 4,608,000. 6.The Court however stated the amount equivalent of 8 months’ salary, to be Kshs. 2,304,000. 7.The amount stated is equivalent of 4 months’ salary. 8.The error is corrected under Rules 74 [1][b] and 75 of the E&LRC [Procedure] Rules, 2024, to show the correct amount of compensation, at Kshs. 4,608,000.It Is Ordered: -a.Paragraph 91 and order [b] of the Judgment delivered on 30th January 2026, are corrected to show the amount of compensation payable to the Claimant, equivalent of 8 months’ salary, to be Kshs. 4,608, 000.b.A copy of this ruling be availed to the Parties. **DATED, SIGNED AND DELIVERED ELECTRONICALLY AT NAKURU, THIS 30TH DAY OF JANUARY 2026.****JAMES RIKA****JUDGE**
