JUDGMENT –
APPLICATION FOR LEAVE TO APPEAL
WRIGHT J
1.
According to their
notice of motion dated 20 June 2023, the three named applicants, not
just two of them, sought condonation for
“
the
Applicants’ late filing of their application for rescission of
judgment
. “
What was also sought was rescission of a certain judgment and related
relief.
2.
On 4 June 2024, in a
typed, signed judgment, I dismissed the application for want of a
case made out on the question of condonation.
3.
The
same three cited applicants, not just two of them, now seek leave to
appeal my order.
4.
In my view, the
applicants have no reasonable prospect on appeal and there is no
compelling reason to grant leave.
ORDER
1.
The application for
leave to appeal is dismissed.
2.
The applicants are
jointly and severally to pay the costs of the respondents.
